Thomas Lawrence, founder of tkdyAdvisors, has over eighteen years of experience in cross-border research, sales, investment banking, and capital raising, primarily focused on small and mid-cap clients. His career started at the No. 1 Extel Ranked pan-European/UK SMID cap sales desk at ABN Amro before spending fifteen years at the equally high ranked Investec Securities UK SMID cap sales team. Thomas has lived in the USA for 11 years and as such has a very extensive ‘black book’ of US buy side participants with a particular focus on tech, family office, and long only investors.

George Billington comes to tkdyAdvisors with over sixteen years of experience working with small and mid-cap companies to identify new investors and efficiently access the US capital markets. Originally from the UK, George moved to the US in 2003 and has worked in equity capital markets and investment banking positions ever since, first at Oppenheimer & Co., then most recently at Raymond James. With a primary focus on the healthcare sector, George has developed a broad network of relevant investors for healthcare companies at all stages of development.

Ian Jamieson comes to tkdyAdvisors following his tenure as Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at BlackRock in Philadelphia. In that capacity Ian was lead portfolio manager on several multi-billion dollar strategies, including International All-Cap, Global All-Cap, Global Small/Mid, and US Small/Mid. In his time with BlackRock, team assets grew from $200 million to over $20 billion. In addition to portfolio management, Ian served as sector head for consumer, media and telecom research and specialized in SMID cap growth investing.
tom morrison
Tom has 25 years of experience in European equities. Tom started at Deutsche Bank in their New York office in Pan European Small & Mid Cap Sales. While at Deutsche Bank, he also spent time working in their London office. From there, he spent 15 years at Commerzbank in New York, mostly focused on German equity sales. Most recently, he spent three years at Kepler Cheuvreux in sales. His background on the sell-side includes capital raising, research sales and corporate access across multiple sectors and all European countries. He has international investor relationships in Boston, New York, the Midwest and Florida.
james chapman
James Chapman has 25+ years of experience in small and mid cap markets. He ran the Credit Suisse UK Smaller Companies fund in London before moving to GMO in Boston in 2009 where he helped run a number of multi cap international equity strategies (including a specialist small cap fund). James then helped work on the establishment of tkdyA in 2018 before returning to the buy side as a Portfolio Manager and Analyst on specialist international small cap funds at Columbia Threadneedle (Acorn family of funds) and Kabouter Management. James rejoined tkdyA in 2025 and is a CFA charterholder.
jason dubeshter
Jason Dubeshter joined tkdyAdvisors in 2026 with 20+ years of experience working on both the buy-side and sell-side. For more than seven years he was a Senior Analyst at Sierra Global Management, a European-focused equity hedge fund. While there he invested primarily in Pan-European SMID-caps as a Generalist. Jason then joined Thomas Lawrence at Investec, where he spent ten years as an integral member of the UK SMID-cap sales desk in the US. Jason is a CFA charter holder and earned an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
